Newland Physiotherapy Christmas 2011 Newsletter

Dog owners will be pleased to hear that following the recent success of the Introduction to Canine Massage course, further massage courses are being planned for 2011. 

Courses are are open to anyone who wishes to learn how they can enhance a dog's health and performance through massage.  No prior knowledge is necessary to attend an introductory course.  Those with some experience of massage or who have completed the Introduction to Canine Massage may be interested in attending an advanced course to further their skills. 

Introduction to Canine Massage

The introductory course covers the following topics:

An introduction to the benefits of massage
Demonstration and hands-on practise of basic massage techniques
Use of massage in treating common injuries in dogs
Raising the level of performance in dogs through massage

Advanced Canine Massage

A follow-on course designed to build on the basic skills and learning of the Introduction to Canine Massage.
